Anna Netrebko will appear on television screens across the US over the coming year in a Great Performances special on PBS titled Domingo, Netrebko, & Villazón: Three Stars in Vienna.The program was recorded last June, when the three singers performed an outdoor concert in front of more than 10,000 people at the Imperial Park of Vienna’s Schönbrunn Palace on June 27, 2008.
Presented by Thirteen/WNET New York in high definition, the broadcast is led by French conductor Bertrand de Billy, directing the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra. The program begins airing on Thirteen/WNET in New York on November 30, 2008 and later in other markets (check local listings).
