Anna Netrebko and Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Concerts in Paris, London and Wien, 15.-23. November 2008

According to LIVE dabei Tours GmbH Anna Netrebko and Dmitri Hvorostovsky will give concerts in Paris, London and Wien on 15.-23. November 2008. The picture on the left shows them at the Carnegie Hall on 30. May 2007.

Those initially planned concerts were cancelled after Anna Netrebko announced she was expecting a baby for this autumn

Anna Netrebko and Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Abu Dhabi 29. March 2008

According to the schedule section of the official web site of Dmitri Hvorostovsky Anna Netrebko and Dmitri Hvorostovsky will give a concert in Abu Dhabi on 29. March 2008. This concert has not yet been announced in the official web site of Anna Netrebko. The picture on the left shows them at the Carnegie Hall concert given on 30. May 2007.

Updated on 2. February 2008 - Dmitri has cancelled this concert and finally the concert will be given by Anna Netrebko and Elina Garanca as it has been announced at the DG official web site.

Anna on MET Opera Live in HD this Saturday

MET Opera live in HD starts this Saturday 15. December 2007 with Gounod's Roméo et Juliette, starring Anna Netrebko and Roberto Alagna playing the title roles and Plácido Domingo conducting. The performance will be live broadcasted in HD to movie theaters of 14 nations.

Anna has been nominated for a 2008 Grammy in the category Best Classical Vocal Performance for her Russian Album

The list of 2008 Grammy nominees for Classical has been just released today. Anna has been nominated for the 2008 Grammy awards in the category Best Classical Vocal Performance for her wonderful Russian Album. The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will be presented at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on 10. February 2008. Congratulations Anna! You are really deserving this award.

The MET Opera Radio on Sirius will broadcast live from the MET the performances of Goundod's Roméo et Juliette on 12., 15., 20., 27. and 31. December 2007.

The saturday matinee performance on 15. December will be broadcast live in HD into select movie theaters in USA and other nations. This performance will be also available on demand-tv in USA, in both standard and HD formats, starting 16. January 2008.

Anna at the 30th Annual Kennedy Center Honors, Washington, D.C., 2. December 2007

Anna made a surprise appearance last Sunday 2. December 2007, at the 30th Annual Kennedy Center Honors in Washington, D.C., honoring legendary film director and opera lover Martin Scorsese by singing "O mio babbino caro" from Puccini's Gianni Schicchi.

The 30th annual Kennedy Center Honors will be broadcast in the US on CBS on Wednesday, 26. December at 9pm (EST), as a 2-hours prime time special.
