La Boheme is not my cup of tea, so I'd let that one pass (the Mimi arias she sang in concert in Pleyel recently were enough for me ;) ).
ReplyDeleteBut what surprises me more is to see that except for Anna Bolena, there will be no Netrebko in Europe next season :(
I can only imagine the "bloodbath" to score a ticket for Anna Bolena in Vienna...
Well St. Petersburg, Copenhagen, Canary Islands and München are Europe... nevertheless, the performances included here are just those who are confirmed and I know the dates, or despite the fact that they are not confirmed yet, I know more or less the expected date.
ReplyDeleteFor München, I know the dates, but I am not sure if it's really a concert or, most probably, they are the expected performances of I Capuleti e I Montecchi.
If you take a look to the Performances Databse, I am still keeping there several undated, unconfirmed performances for 2010-2011 season. Among those, I am quite confident that she will perform in a Lucia di Lammermoor in Berlin, a Faust in London and a Ruslan and Lyudmila in Moscow.
I still have listed, but I am pretty sure that she will not perform in a Faust and a Iolanta in Paris.
As soon as the European Opera Houses confirm their upcoming seasons, I will update the post.
