  3. This Carmen would be the high point of the season!!! A dvd/cd should be released from these performances!!! It's a must!!!

Elina sings also Carmen at the Bayerische Staatsoper, München, just after Wien. I do not know if Anna will be also there.

On the same season, there is a Carmen at the Met with Angela Gheorghiu as Carmen, not Micaela, and Roberto Alagna as Don José(assuming they do not cancel) at the end of December and beginnig of January, including the New Years Eve Gala.

  4. I read on the news yesterday that all tickets for a concert in Copenhagen on the 18th of September 2009 were sold out in 14 minutes!!!!!

And I hadn't even heard about the concert :-(

They can't have made it very 'official' or I would have noticed

I feel very sad about it - so close and not able to hear her.

I had planned to go to London for the Capuleti/Montecchi but couldn't make it, so I'm looking forward to the cd that will get here soon ;-)

  5. sooo... like many netrebkiano- villazonistas, or villazonistas-netrebkianos, in my case... I´m looking forward to seeing (not live, of course, that´s just a swett dream -"Un bel di vedremo! jaja=)"-)that Manon at the ROH!=) Reading this post again and readinng also Christina´s coment on that dream Carmen (when she wrote "favorite tenor", I ´M SURE she wasen´t thinking of Giordano) makes me miss Rolando verry much!=( However, that Manon can be his succesful return, with his dream partner again, can´t it? =)
