Reports
Anne-Laure has attended also the third performance of the run with Anna Netrebko of l'Elisir d'Amore at Opera Bastille on 20. Oct 2009 and she wrote the following short report:
What an incredible evening. Anna took a little time to warm up during her first aria (I found out why later), but after that, she delivered a truly great performance. She got a totally deserved and huge ovation after her aria in the second act (which was breathtaking, as usual). The audience granted her a storm of "bravos" and applauses that lasted and then... were made in rythm! I've never heard that before in Bastille! It's very very rare!!! She made the audience go mad by her fantastic singing, her incredible voice, her joy and her charisma. She was funny, moving and sang magnificently. She made the audience left the theater with a huge smile on the face. Thanks to her.

And you won't believe it but she was really sick. She was barely able to speak the morning of the performance and she had a hoarseness that one could really notice when she spoke. That's why she took a little time to warm.

This woman/artist is fantastic. A great person. Moreover, she is so natural and nice that one can only love her. Filianoti too was ill (but it was a little bit difficult for him). Nevertheless they sang (and how she did it???!!!)! Respect and Bravi.
