Deutsche Grammophone has launched the special site devoted to the new release album of I Capuleti e I Montecchi starring Anna Netrebko and Elina Garanca.

Today I got an email from Amazon.de. My copy of I Capuleti e I Montecchi has been sent. So, I expect to have it in a few days.

I love it! Heard it first in ORF radio last year. Now the CD is out!
ReplyDeleteBut, I still desperatly wait for a BD or DVD copy of my favourite MET HD broadcast of the Dec 15, 2007 performance of Gounod's Roméo et Juliette with Anna Netrebko and Roberto Alagna. To replay and watch it in high quality would be a dream! Met player can only serve as appetizer.
The Netrebko performance of a year before, Bellini's I Puritani, was released by Deutsche Grammophone. I already enjoy both, the DVD and the BD.
Does anybody know if it is already for sale or when it will be released.
In the FAQs Live in HD http://www.metoperafamily.org/metopera/broadcast/template.aspx?id=4668#dvds this broadcast is not listed.
I think it would be a great loss to art and opera lovers if no BD or DVD would be available of the Roméo et Juliette HD broadcast.
Please help, use your powers and influence, to let a dream become true.
