Anna Netrebko at the Salzburger Festspiele 2010 and 2012

A first outlook to Salzburger Festspiele 2010 shows that Anna Netrebko sings in at least 5 out of 9 performances of the revival of Gounod's Roméo et Juliette.

Alexander Pereira, new designated intendant of the Salzburger Festspiele, has announced his plans for the Salzburger Festspiele 2012. Among those plans, he intends to stage Puccini's La Bohème starring Anna Netrebko as Mimi and Piotr Beczala as Rodolfo with Daniele Gatti conducting.

  1. Thanks for the news.
And it seems that she should sing Gounod's Juliette next year (in the same production than the one available in dvd with Villazon and Machaidze).
