Breaking News - Anna Netrebko and Dmitri Hvorostovsky could sing in "Eugene Onegin" at the Wiener Staatsoper

Today's edition of the french newspaper La Dépêche publishes an interview to the young russian tenor Dmitry Korchak who is scheduled to make his debut at the Théâtre du Capitole, Toulouse on 18. Mar 2011 as Il Conte d'Almaviva in Rossini's "Il Barbiere di Siviglia".

Asked about his favorite roles Korchak said that among his future projects there is a "Eugene Onegin" at the Wiener Staatsoper with Anna Netrebko and Dmitri Hvorostovsky.

  1. To get Netrebko/Hvorostovsky together in Eugene Onegin, as well as in War and Peace, would be an absolutely dream! Plus Gergiev conducting, pleaseeee!
