Anna Netrebko 2008-2009 Season Schedule
Great to get the duet from Pagliacci and the final scene of Eugene Onegin! I like the choices of Yelensky's aria from Pique Dame and the Song to the evening star from Tannhauser for Dmitri (unfortunately not Wagner yet for Anna) and Regnava nel silenzio for Anna. It will be a great concert!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a well balanced programme.
ReplyDeleteI was hoping to hear some of the smaller gems from the Russian Album (especially the Rachmaninov Lied op.21 n°7), but I can't really quibble over what should be a great night of music, and the end of my Anna Spring Fest!!
Let us launch a proposal for DG... A "The Russian Duets Album" by Anna and Dmitri, with the Mariinsky Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev... Then a concert tour to promote the new recording... Who would support this proposal? ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm raising my hand :)
ReplyDeleteSounds great - I would fully support it.
ReplyDeleteMe too ;))
