An Anna Netrebko Gala Performance will be held at the Concert at the Opera and Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theater, St. Petersburg on 5. July 2009. The previously announced Anna Netrebko Gala to be held at the Mariinsky Theater on 4. July 2009, has apparently been canceled and does not appears anymore on the weblink that I had posted, despite the fact that even the prices of the tickets had been announced. Nevertheless, some details about that Gala were unclear.
ReplyDeleteNow this concert has been announced on 5. July 2009. Despite the fact that it is announced Valery Gergiev as conductor, Keri-Lynn Wilson is announced also on the website. So it is not always easy to get the right information and sometimes sudden changes on the schedule arise.

ReplyDeleteOn the website of the Mariinsky this concert is announced as the Anna Netrebko Gala. So, the previously announced Gala on 4. July, has been translated to 5. July.

ReplyDeletePara F: Anna no vuelve al Met hasta final de año para cantar en Les Contes d'Hoffmann y más adelante en La Bohème. No sé de donde has sacado la idea de que pudiera volver al Met a cantar Lucia en Junio, cuando tanto la programación del Met, como la de Anna, está publicada y es oficial.
