  2. The concerts Anna is involved in right at the beginning of May are confusing. She has one on the 1st in St. Petersburg. The Gala on the 2nd seems to be related to Gergiev's birthday and, from what I understand, is by invitation only. The concert on the 4th is part of the Easter Festival and I understand she has a concert, also part of the Easter Festival, the next day in Krasnodar with Gergiev conducting.

  3. Yes, all the information is a little bit confusing and somehow difficult to find from a single source, even if apparently at least three of the performances belong to the Easter Festival.

The recital on 1. May in St. Petersburg seems to be clear and it is included in the Masriinsky web site.

I read about "something happens" on 2. May at the Russian forum ForumKlassika. Because of her cancellation at the second Manon in Wien, some people at the forum (that I know they visit the blog from time to time) were worried about the performances on 1. and 2. May. So I have been looking for any performance on 2. May and I found the one reported at the link of the post containing info on the Easter Festival (apparently the official web site or so). People at the forum actually were talking that tickets were already on sale and I think I saw the option to buy tickets at the link I wrote, so I do not think it is only by invitation performance. I am not sure about the venue, but I think it is the Grand Hall of the Moscow State Conservatory, also called Tchaikovsky Hall or Conservatory.

About the concert on 4. May in Moscow it should be related to the Easter Festival but it was not included in the reference link. I found only the info on the DG site.

I found some info on Krasnodar concert on the reference you gave me. It seems there is a concert with Gergiev. But it is not fully clear to me.

Maybe our visitors from the forum ForumKlassika may give us a more detailed info about all these performances of Anna in Russia

  5. Great work on straightening that out. When you have to use the Google translate for Russian pages you just never know.
