I think that some or all of these performances at the Wiener Konerthaus will be recorded to be released as a CD.
ReplyDeleteIf this happens, March 2009 would be a good date for the release, as Anna and Elina will sing the same roles of I Capuleti e I Montecchi at the ROH.
My heart, be still! I just saw Anna and Elina Garanca singing the duet from Lakme on Canadian TV and I absolutely melted! I would've paid a lot to see the two of them as Romeo and Juliet.

This duet comes from Baden-Baden performance the last year and the whole concert is available as DVD and CD.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the information that I have, the concert version of I Capuleti e I Montecchi of Wien will be released as CD. But do not worry,... it is planned to release a DVD of the performances to be held next year at ROH, also with Anna and Elina.
