Anna Netrebko cancels tonight's Manon at WSO
Anna Netrebko has cancelled the tonight's performance of Manon at the Wiener Staatsoper. She is still scheduled for the two remaining performances on 12. and 15. April 2008. Tonight Netrebko has been substituted by Alexandra Reinprecht.

According to Die Presse Anna simply had a head cold. Normally she would sing through this (not a chest cold or bronchitis) but because she is pregnant cannot take any medication. She is expected to sing on the 12th.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the additional info. I have been looking for some radio broadcast of any of the performances, in particular the one on Saturday 12. April, but I did not found anyone. Someone knows if there is a radio broadcast scheduled?
