ReplyDeleteSorry, I was to hasty but when you copy/paste this link you come on the mainpage of Paris Opera then choose Reservé and you get a pop-up where you can scroll to Operas and than from the 13th on you can directly order your ticket from there. Opening times (I guess) will be from 8 or 9 in the morning, just look from time to time at the internet, or ask the question on the site at Contacts (it's also in English avaiable!)
It is at 09:00
ReplyDeleteThank you both for your advice. I'll be logging on in nervous anticipation on Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteWhen I got access to the reservation screen at 09:00 everything was sold out for the performances of I Capulet e I Montecchi at Opera Bastille on 24. and 31. May. Only some tickets were available for the 28. may and the two matinees on 8. and 15. Jun. Finally I got a ticket for the 15. Jun. It is quite late and there is an obvious risk of cancellation, but hopefully Anna will sing and we will enjoy a great performance with a great cast.
ReplyDeleteWell, I think I've been a bit hasty. I was hoping to get a ticket for either the 2nd or the 6th of June performances as I'm in Paris that week for a short break, so I was a bit put out when there were none on offer. So, following a mini tantrum, and a bowl of mixed cereal, I returned to the site and bought a ticket for the 15th of June matinee performance also (well, I hope I have, I haven't received an email to confirm that everything is hunky-dory). The slight problem being I'd forgotten I'm seeing Bruce Springsteen in Cardiff the night before (and before anyone thinks it, this isn't turning into an ebay "oops I'd forgotten" scenario where I then offer the ticket for £600), so I'm desperately racking my brains how to get to London in time for the Eurostar (I'm not a great fan of flying). Anyway, I hope everyone managed to get hold of a ticket, despite the ludicruous ticket allocation of Paris Opera - I thought the ROH were bad, but at least they have to offer 10% of their tickets to the general public and have day seats available. Anyway, moan over with...for now...until I hear my booking somehow failed...
ReplyDeleteROH is my my favorite opera house, from many point of view, including booking facilities and chances to get a ticket for the performance you want. I got my ticket for La Traviata for the date I wanted to go. So, they should keep at least some tickets available for the day booking starts. This has not been the case for Paris.
ReplyDeleteunfortunately there aren't any tickets to buy from internet.do you know if they sell anymore?i wanted to go in 15 june
ReplyDeletei have booked airtickets from greece 14-17 june
ReplyDelete15. June has been the easiest date to get tickets. If it is sold out I think that there are standing tickets which are sold on the day of the performance, 1 hour and a half before the performance (obviously you should be on-line many hours before). I think there are also some tickets which are sold only on the place.

ReplyDeleteTickets are again avilable now for 15. Jun on the opera website
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to see there are some there - one appeared briefly this afternoon but disappeared before I could post. There are tickets available on viennaticketoffice.com and mosaicodiffusion.com although I'm not sure how many (if any) tickets they actually have, it appears to be a reserve and cross your fingers in hope job. I have to admit to being a touch jealous of you Carlos with your La Traviata experience - I was tempted to queue up for day seats for that Saturday performance but assumed she wouldn't be singing...which encouraged me to queue this past Saturday for the Donmar Othello. I may even queue on the Thursday I'm in Paris. Dr Yiapud I hope you've managed to get yourself a ticket by now.
ReplyDeleteTickets still appear as available at the Opera National de Paris website for the 15. Jun, with ticket prices ranging from 80-150 EUR.
ReplyDeleteFinally, today I got a ticket for the Anna's Paris debut in I Capuleti e I Montecchi on 24. May!
ReplyDeleteAs I got a ticket for Anna's debut on 24. May in I Capuleti e I Montecchi in Paris, I am looking to sell my ticket for the 15. June at face value (120 eur) + mail expensess. The ticket is for a good seat, on the 1st Balcon, 3rd Row.
