REPORT
Herbert attended the show in Wien and he wrote the following notes: The last IOLANTA this year was in Vienna yesterday, in the Konzerthaus - a wonderful concert hall! Sold out again, and I saw, for example, Piotr Beczala in the audience. This production is really excellent, and I like this opera more and more. It is always an unexpected moment and a surprise, when Anna/Iolanta suddenly appears among the audience, walking slowly and gracefully from the back rows along the central corridor forward to the stage - a real princess in her pink gown. After the show there was a reception for the artists, so they didn't turn up at the stage exit.

REPORT
Herbert attended the show in Prague and he wrote the following notes: Sometimes things happen as expected. After Nürnberg I thought: Smetana Hall + the audience in Prague = the best Iolanta ever! And indeed it has been an outstanding performance tonight! After the show Anna was so enthused about the acoustics in Smetana Hall (which is a fantastic concert hall in art nouveau style within the Obecni dum / Municipal House); she said: “It is so easy to sing there.” – This, plus an audience which catapulted out of their chairs after the final note made for an awesome and unforgettable night in the beautiful city of Prague. At the artists’ entrance she asked – tongue in cheek - which of her dresses (during the Iolanta tour) we like best. I answered: “Oscar de la Renta”, and she replied: “They all say that.” Before saying good-bye she asked: “Where will I see you guys again?” – “Vienna!” “Barcelona!” But it will be difficult to surpass this memorable night in Prague.

REPORT
Herber attended the show and he wrote the following note: Another Iolanta, this time in Nürnberg at the Meistersingerhalle. The cast was excellent again, but the audience was a bit tired. It is strange how different people can react. Anna was nice at the stage entrance - she even told somebody how to take a good photo. I am sure she loves this Iolanta tour, because each performance is "short and brillant".

Herbert attended the performance of Iolanta at Salle Pleyel and he wrote the following remarks: "The French audience was 10 times more enthusiastic at the end than Ljubljana and Munich together!!! And the production is getting better and better. And by the way - Anna looked stunning today, in a new, pink dress by Oscar de la Renta (a nice lady asked her at the stage door). "
