Silvesterkonzert in Dresden with Anna Netrebko, Piotr Beczala and Erwin Schrott

The official website of the Staatskapelle Dresden announces Silvesterkonzerts at the Semperoper Dresden on 30. and 31. December 2011.

The star soprano Anna Netrebko, the tenor Piotr Beczala and the bass-baritone Erwin Schrott will sing higlights from Franz Lehár's operettas. Christian Thielemann will conduct the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.

Deutsche Grammophon signs new exclusive recording agreement with Anna Netrebko

Deutsche Grammophon has signed a new exclusive recording agreement with the star soprano Anna Netrebko.

Michael Lang, Deutsche Grammophon’s President, said: “Our long-term partnership with Anna has created the most inspired, beautiful, and artistic recordings. We are thrilled to continue this tradition with such a superb artist.”
